Last night I managed to make it through about 3/4 of my first zumba class before my sciatica kicked in and I couldn't move. Knowing I had planned on back to back classes, I shot a text to Nick to bring me some pain relief and in the meanwhile, sat with my water bottle full of ice on my back/butt cheek and chilled for a few songs. I got back in for a couple more songs, then left for the next class.
I did the 2nd class pretty well, the meds had kicked in and I was able to move pretty well. The 2nd class is always harder because not only am I already worn out from an hour workout, it's on carpet and it's a LOT harder to move the way we need to! LOL The instructor makes it look so easy peasy.
I did it, though. It was a good workout and we came home and showered, put the kids to bed and went to sleep. I slept well last night (which doesn't happen very often) and had a hard time getting up to face the morning.
I'm still teasing the 300 mark, but I have been barely under for 2 days now, so hopefully I will never see that number again. My shakes are rescheduled to be delivered tomorrow, which bums me out some, but I will be happy when they get here, regardless!
There is no workout tonight, I work late and I need a time out. No workout tomorrow (maybe zumba at home in the morning) cause of parenting class (only 2 left, yay!), and working late again Friday. Zumba will resume Saturday morning!
