Me: "We need to go to the gym today."
Hubby: "Why?"
*blink blink*
Men. :p
So, I have had 4 days off from working out. Not by choice, but had to. I never take that much time off (except when I was sick) and I feel so 'off'. I end up doing little things just cause, running to Eli's bus twice a day at the end of the driveway, running to the mailbox and back, power walking to the bathroom when Tanya and I got to Food 4 Less yesterday LOL
I have Zumba on the Kinect and while I love to be able to do it while I am at home, I don't like it nearly as much as I love going to the classes. The Kinect takes so long to warm up and whatnot....but, no excuses! I need to just do it but I am so strained on time in the morning from the time the kids leave for school until the day care kids come is only 25 mins. I usually do a 20 min workout and that's it. Nothing compared to the 1-2 hrs I do on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I have officially said goodbye to 300 lbs! I no longer bounce around and tease being under it, I am 294 and far enough away to be able to never see that evil number again! I have lost several inches, not sure exactly how many, but know that since Thursday I have lost a bra size, almost 2 and my shirts fit so much better without such a huge roll on my gut!
That is fantastic Des.....I am happy for you! Where do you take your Zumba classes?? I have been wanting to look into that for a while now!
ReplyDeleteI do classes Tuesday/Thursday nights from 545-645 and Saturday morning from 9-10 at the community center on 4th and L. And then my same instructor teaches class Tuesday/Thursday night from 7-8 at NitroFit gym. All classes are $5 drop in rate.
